The final answer key for the JEE Mains session 1 has been finally published and released. So, with the help of the final key available, students can get a chance to check their performance in the exam. All in all, the expected result date is also expected to be released on 16th February, 2026, on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can access their JEE Main Session 1 scorecard using their application number, password/date of birth once the result link is activated.

9 Questions Dropped in Final Answer Key

As per the final answer key released by NTA, nine questions have been dropped from the Session 1 examination. The result is now awaited and may be announced at any time today.

The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 result will be released for approximately 13,00,368 candidates who appeared for Paper 1 (BE/BTech). The results and final answer keys for Paper 2 (BArch/BPlan) will be announced separately at a later date. This year, JEE Main recorded around 14.5 lakh registrations for Session 1, marking the highest-ever registration for the January session.

Visit the main website, which is, jeemain.nta.nic.in
Then, tap on the “JEE Mains 2026 Session 1 result”
Log in with the help of the application number and password
Now, the scorecard is visible on the screen, and candidates can have a look

JEE Main 2026 Expected Cutoff Percentile

The cutoff percentile required to qualify for JEE Advanced will be officially announced after Session 2 results in April. However, based on trends, the expected cutoff percentile is:
