JEE Main 2026 Form Correction Ends Today, Final Chance to Fix Errors at jeemain.nta.nic.in

The‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ National Testing Agency (NTA) is ending the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 application form correction facility today, December 2, 2025. Candidates who have already filed their applications and want to change the details of their applications must make their edits before the ending time if they wait until after today, they will not be given any permission to make changes. 

The correction window is available only to candidates logging into the official portal, jeemain.nta.nic.in with the application number and password/date of ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌birth.

Which Details Can Be Edited and Which Cannot in JEE Main 2026 Session 1?

NTA has allowed candidates to modify most fields. However, the following information CANNOT be changed during the correction window:

• Mobile number
• Email ID
• Permanent address
• Present address
• Emergency contact details
• Uploaded photograph

All other editable fields can be corrected, including personal details, academic information, exam city preferences, and category, depending on the candidate’s profile.

Follow the steps below to make corrections smoothly:

• Visit jeemain.nta.nic.in
• Click on “Application Form Correction – JEE Main 2026” link
• Log in using Application Number + Password/Date of Birth
• Read the instructions presented on screen
• Verify OTP sent to your registered mobile number
• Access the editable fields on your application
• Make required changes and re-check the form carefully
• Submit and save the revised application
• If asked, complete payment of correction charges

Once submitted today, the edited application form becomes FINAL.

What Happens After JEE Main 2026 Session 1, Form Correction?

After the form correction process concludes tonight:

• City Intimation Slip — Expected in the first week of January 2026
• Admit Card — To be released 3–4 days before the exam
• Exam Schedule Window — January 21 to 30, 2026 (exact dates per shift to be announced soon)

The City Intimation Slip will reveal the exam city assigned, while the admit card will include:

• Exam date and shift
• Centre name and address
• Reporting time
• Exam day guidelines
