JEST 2026 Scheduled for April 12: Dates, Eligibility, and Key Information

For the information of the students, all those candidates who wish to take admission into programmes like PhD, Integrated PhD, and MSc programmes which are offered by top participating institutions need to give an national level test which is called JEST. The exam is primarily held in the fields of:

• Physics
• Theoretical Computer Science
• Computational Biology

Every institution is different and they have their own eligibility criteria and they also use JEST score for shortlisting the candidates in the selection process. 

JEST 2026 Eligibility Criteria

• No need to wonder for the age limit as their is no upper age limit to appear or the JEST exam. 
• Eligibility conditions vary by institute and programme.
