The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has started the PhD Admissions process and is open till the 7th July 2025. The students would be enrolled only for the doctoral studies of JNU during the session 2025- 2026. The interested candidates can visit the official website at jnuee.jnu.ac.in . The last date for application is 7th July 2025, till 11:50 PM.

The admissions to the PhD would be based on the JRF, NET, and GATE, the national-level intermediate exams. Candidates must have qualified for these exams for the application to the engineering PhD programmes. For the PhD admission in JNU, the GATE scores would be acceptable, and the degrees mentioned earlier would be accompanied by this qualification.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission in the JNU PhD 2025

• Master's Degree (Either one or two years): passed with 55% marks.
• M.Phil with 55% marks.
• Four-year bachelor's with a minimum of 75% (giving relaxation of 70% cutoff to the reserved candidates like SC/ST/OBC/PwD/EWS).
