JoSAA 2025 Round 2 Counselling: Seat Allotment Results Releasing Today at 5 PM, Click here for the Steps to Check Result

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is all set to announce the Round 2 Counselling of the seat allotment result today (25th June 2025) at 5 PM on the official website of josaa.nic.in. Candidates who qualified for the first round of counselling and have now participated in the second round of counselling can check their seat allotment status by logging in to the official JoSAA website. After the counselling, the students can participate in the counselling process of admission into the premier technical institutes like IIITs, NITs, IITs and GFTIs of India.

Candidates who are allotted seats in the Round 2 of JoSAA Counselling Round 2 would be required to complete the online reporting round between 25th June and 29th June 2025 (till 5 PM). Here are some of the processes that include:

• Uploading of the Necessary Documents.
• Payment of the seat acceptance cost.
• Submission of one willingness option from the three options – Freeze, Float, or Slide.

Candidates must resolve any of the payment-related issues by 30th June 2025, till 5 PM. The deadline for responding to the document-related issues is till 1st July, 10 AM.

JoSAA 2025 Counselling: Seat Acceptance Options

JoSAA has provided three willingness/seat acceptance options below:

• Freeze: Final acceptance of the seats allotted to candidates and exit from the further counselling process.
• Float: Acceptance of the seats in the counselling process while staying eligible for a more sanctioned seat in the future rounds of counselling.
• Slide: Retain all the allotted institutes and are still being considered for a preferred seat and course within the same institute or college.

Steps to Check JoSAA 2025 Round 2 Result Online

• Navigate to the official website at josaa.nic.in.
• Find the link reading “View JoSAA Seat Allotment Result – Round 2” on the homepage, and click on it.
• Log in using your JEE Main application number, password, and the security pin.
• View the allotted institute course and the category details on the screen.
• View and download the seat allotment letter and get a printout for future reference.

Application Fee for JoSAA Round 2 Counselling

To confirm the allotted seats in the JoSAA Round 2 counselling session, the interested and participating candidates must need to pay the seat acceptance fee within the stipulated time window, i.e, from 25th June 2025 to 29th June 2025 (5 PM). This process involves logging in to the official JoSAA portal using the JEE Main Application number and the password, moving to the payment gateway, and selecting the preferred online payment option. Once you complete the transaction, candidates would be advised to download and keep the final payment receipt for the future reference.
