Maharashtra HSC 2025: Results OUT! Pass Percentage @ 91.88%, Click here for the Steps to Download your Result

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has announced the High School Certificate Results today (5th May 2025) at 11 am. The Result link is active from 1 pm today at https://mahresult.nic.in/ . The Board has also provided some other website links like mahahsscboard.org , hsresult.mkcl.org , and mahahsscboard.in . Students who appeared this year can check their respective results on the above links after 1 PM. The overall pass percentage of the candidates this year is recorded at 91.88%. Konkan division has the highest pass percentage of 91.88%, among the nine divisions across the state, while Latur has been reported as the lowest pass percentage holder at 89.46%.

The Board has also announced that the students not satisfied with their results can apply for the marks re-verification and re-evaluation till 20th May 2025.

Exam Statistics

• Total Registered Students: 14,27,085
• Total Appeared Students: 14,17, 969
• Total Passed Students: 13, 02, 873 

The HSC exams is full of 154 subjects, out of this 37 subjects had a 100% pass rate. 

Overall Performance

• Pass Percentage in 2025: 91.88%
• Pass Percentage in 2024: 93.37%

There is a slight decrease in the overall pass percentage as compared to last year.

Gender-Wise Performance

• Girls: 94.54% pass percentage
• Boys: 89.51% pass percentage

Girls have outshone the boys in the results, this year too.

• Science: 97.35%
• Commerce: 92.68%
• Arts: 80.53%
• Vocational: 83.3%

Division-Wise Pass Percentage

• Konkan: 96.74% (highest)
• Kolhapur: 93.64%
• Mumbai: 92.93%
• Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: 92.24%
• Amravati: 91.43%
• Pune: 91.32%
• Nashik: 91.31%
• Nagpur: 90.52%
• Latur: 89.46% (lowest)

The Maharashtra HSC categorized the students based on their performance across the various percentage brackets. A total of 4500 students scored above 90%.1,49,932 students from the total passed candidates had scored 75% and above, 4,07,438 students secured their scores between 60% and 74.99%. The majority of candidates (5,80,902) fell in the category of 45% to 59.99% range. And, 1,64,601 students passed with the scores between 35% and 44.99%. None of the students had scored a perfect 100% score.

Steps to Download your Result

• Navigate to the official website at https://mahresult.nic.in/ .
• Click the link to check the MSBSHSE HSC Class 10 Result. A new window opens, enter your roll number, mother’s first name, and click on the Submit button. 
• Once submitted, the individual marks and scorecard appear on the screen. Verify your details and download the scorecard for future reference. This marksheet would be provisional, and the individual mark sheets can be collected from your respective colleges in the coming few days.

Students are advised to stay calm and composed if the website does not open, as it happens due to heavy traffic, so stop checking for some time and then try again after some time to view your result.
