NEET PG 2025 Counselling Updates: Expected Start Date, Registration & How to Apply

The Counselling and registration date of NEET PG 2025 is not yet live on the Medical Counselling Committee website. Apart from that, the counselling process is about to start soon and for more information, check the official website ‍‍mcc.nic.in

Expected Start Date

The expectation is that the tentative date for the beginning of the PG medical entrance exams will be in mid-October 2025. Unfortunately, this is due to the need for regulatory approvals, the pending Supreme Court cases, and the finalisation of the new Postgraduate seats in medical colleges.

How to Apply for NEET PG Counselling

1. Visit mcc.nic.in
2. Click on PG Medical Counselling 2025
3. Register using your NEET PG roll number, date of birth, and password
4. Fill in all required details, upload documents, and pay fees
5. Select your choices for colleges and courses
6. Download the confirmation receipt for future reference

Important Notes for Candidates

You'll need to have your scorecard, a government-issued ID, category certificates and any other supporting documents in order to get started when preparing for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate. 

The NEET PG counselling will be a four-round process and will contain a final stray vacancy round to fill any unfilled seats. The candidates are required to finish the document verification and reporting at the allocated colleges by the given deadlines.
