NEET UG 2025 Round One Counselling Extended by MCC, Registration till 3rd August for PwBD Candidates

The Medical Council Committee has extended the registration deadline for the round one counselling for the PwBD candidates. As per the revised schedule of the MCC, the last date to complete the NEET UG registration is till 3rd August 2025. Different PwBD candidates who mailed the MCC for the delay in getting the certificates from the designated disability centres. In the regard to this complaint, MCC extended the deadline, and the seat allotment for the NEET UG 2025 round one would be released soon on 6th August 2025.

Candidates who are left to apply for the NEET UG counselling can check the revised dates of the registration on the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in and can then apply accordingly.

Steps to Apply for NEET UG 2025 Counselling

  • Navigate to the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in.
  • Click on the link “UG Medical Counselling” on the homepage.
  • Register for the online portal or log in using NEET UG credentials.
  • Complete the application form and submit the required processing fee.
  • Upload all your necessary documents, like the NEET scorecard, photo ID card, category certificate, etc., in the required format.
  • Fill in and lock your preferred colleges and courses.
  • Download the confirmation page for the future reference.

Registration for round 1 was extended till 1 pm on 3rd August 2025, and the payment for the same could be done till 4 pm on the same day. Candidates are allowed to fill their choices till 11:59 PM on 3rd August 2025. The choice locking window would be open from 6 pm to 11:55 pm on the same day.

Following this, the seat processing for NEET UG Round would be held between the 4th and 5th August 2025. The results for the Round 1 counselling would be declared on 6th August. Lastly, the candidates would be allotted seats and need to report to their respective institutions from 7th August to 11th August 2025.

This whole counselling process will cover 15% of the All India Quota seats in the medical and dental colleges of India. And, 17 AIIMS are offering over 2000 MBBS seats, 507 B.Sc Nursing seats in the nine institutes, and across 14,000 seats in the deemed universities.
