UGC Notice

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) released the provisional seat allotment result of NEET UG Round 1 Counselling on 12th August 2025. Aspirants who were seeking admission in the MBBS and BDS courses under the 15 per cent of the All India quota and the candidates who had registered in the round 1 of NEET UG counselling can check the status of their seat allocation at the official website at mcc.nic.in . Candidates have a special status to raise their personal grievances until 11 am on 13th August 2025. This can be done through the email at mccresultquery@gmail.com, and after this timeline, the provisional allotment would be considered FINAL, MCC clarified.

The Committee had informed the candidates beforehand that the provisional results are only an indicator and are subject to change. The candidates can never claim any further ownership over the allotted seats in the provisional result, and the current provisional list cannot be challenged by the Court of Law, the committee added.

Now, as the next step, MCC would release the round 1 seat allotment result on the official website at mcc.nic.in .

The committee has clarified that the students must approach the allotted institute or the college only after the NEET UG round 1 final seat allocation result has been declared and the allotment letter has been downloaded from the MCC website.

Candidates who are shortlisted in the final NEET UG round 1 counselling result would have to report to get admitted in the listed medical colleges during the stipulated period of time. The NEET UG round 1 merit list would be prepared on the basis of the candidate’s choice, filled by them during the registration process window.

In the current year, MCC is conducting four rounds of online NEET UG counselling for the All India quota seats, as well as the Central and deemed university seats.

MCC is answerable for administering the NEET UG counselling for the MBBS, BDS, and B.Sc Nursing seats under the All India Quota and the seats at the central and deemed universities. There would also be seats in the Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Armed Force Medical Services (AFMS), JIPMER, and AIIMS.
