The hall ticket for the practical exam for Secondary and senior secondary courses has finally been issued by the National Institute of Open Schooling. Furthermore, students who have registered for the upcoming public examinations can download their admit cards from the official portal by entering their 12-digit enrolment number.

As per the schedule, the exam will be going to happen from the 17th of March to the 1st of April, 2026 at the allotted centres all over India and overseas. The hall ticket is a mandatory document required to appear for the exams and contains key details such as the candidate’s name, enrolment number, subject codes, exam centre, and exam schedule.

Candidates can follow these steps to download their NIOS practical exam hall ticket:

First, candidates need to go to the official website of NIOS, which is sdmis.nios.ac.in
Tap on the link “Hall Ticket Secondary/Senior Secondary Public Exam April 2026” to access the hall ticket
Enter in the 12-digit enrolment number
Tap on the submit button and download

Students should note that the hall ticket will be generated only if the examination fee for the April 2026 session has been paid and the student’s photograph is available in the NIOS database.

NIOS Practical Exam Schedule

As per the official notification, the practical examinations for the April 2026 session will be held between March 17 and April 1, 2026. The exams will take place at the Accredited Institutions or examination centres assigned by NIOS.
