UGC Notice

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2025. Candidates can now see their provisional answers and their own response sheets by visiting the official website at cuet.nta.nic.in.

CUET has also provided a provision for raising any objections over the released answer key, and based on these objections, the final answer key will be released. For any discrepancy, the answer key-challenge window would remain open from 17 June 2025 to 20 June 2025 till 11 PM. The fee payment for the objection is also till 20 June 2025 till 11 PM. Candidates must visit the official website regularly for any further updates on the final answer key declaration and result release.

Steps to Check the Answer Key 2025

  • Navigate to the official website at cuet.nta.nic.in.
  • On the home screen, find the Latest News Section, click on the link reading “Answer Key Challenge for CUET UG 2025 is LIVE”.
  • Click on the CUET UG 2025 Provisional Answer Key Link.
  • Enter your application number and date of birth (DOB).
  • Download the PDF of the provisional answer key and save it for future reference.

NTA has started this answer key objection challenge, allowing the candidates to challenge the provisional answer keys, in which they find any discrepancy. Each objection would be charged an objection fee of Rs. 200 (200 INR per question). Objections that are submitted without any fee would not be entertained.

NTA would finally review all the challenges, and the decisions on the final answer key would be based on NTA’s final decision on evaluating the valid objections of the appeared candidates.

This year, the CUET exam pattern was also revised, and changes were introduced in the exam duration, mode, and number of subjects of the exam. The exam was in the CBT (Computer-Based Test) mode and with three sections in total.

Last year, the CUET UG exam was conducted in the hybrid mode (in both CBT and pen paper mode) on May 15, 16,17, 18, 21, 22, and 24 over 379 cities, including 26 cities of abroad. It was conducted for over 13.48 lakh students.
