OPSC OCS 2026 Registration Ends March 12; Check Eligibility and Application Details

The Registration process of the Odisha Civil Services (OCS) Examination 2026 is live now and will be live until March 12, 2026. All those candidates who have not yet applied still have the chance to submit the application by today, as the Odisha Public Service Commission will close the registration process by today. 

The commission had earlier extended the application window to give aspirants additional time to complete registration and upload the required documents.

The OCS examination is conducted to recruit candidates for Group A and Group B posts in the Odisha state administration. This year, the recruitment drive aims to fill 465 vacancies across various state government services.

OPSC OCS 2026 Vacancy Details and Eligibility

Through this recruitment process, candidates will be selected for several state services, including:

• Odisha Administrative Service
• Odisha Police Service
• Odisha Revenue Service
• Other allied departments under the state government

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following requirements to apply:

• Must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university
• Minimum age limit: 21 years
• Maximum age limit: 38 years

Age relaxation will be provided to candidates from reserved categories as per government rules.

Applicants must also have knowledge of the Odia language. Candidates should be able to read, write, and speak Odia, and must have studied the language at the school level or passed an equivalent examination.

OPSC OCS 2026 Selection Process

The recruitment process consists of three stages:

1. Preliminary Examination – Objective-type screening test
2. Main Examination – Descriptive written papers
3. Interview / Personality Test

As per the current schedule, the OCS preliminary examination is expected to be held on June 7, 2026. Candidates who qualify for the prelims will be eligible to appear for the mains examination, which will be announced later.
