The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has issued the hall tickets for the positions of Junior Enforcement Officer (JEO) and Junior Accountant (JA) 2023. The admit cards are given for the mains written exam.
Candidates who cleared the prelims stage can access the admit cards through the formal OSSC website ossc.gov.in. 191 candidates have cleared the preliminary exams. The Mains exam is scheduled for 13th April 2025 in two sessions:-
This news came after advertisement No. 5130/OSSC, which was released on 29th December 2023. This recruitment drive is for fulfilling the 31 positions, 30 for JEO and 1 for JA.
OSSC Mains 2025 Structure and Subjects
The OSSC mains examination totals to 200 marks divided in two sections Language Section (Odia and English) and General Studies. The detailed syllabus of these sections can be found in the Annexure-C of the original advertisement of 2023.
Both of these positions require candidates to take a Computer Skill Test. The JA post requires a Mathematics test too. A candidate must secure at least 50% in both papers to qualify for the next stage.
Mode of Examination and Marking Structure
OSSC may conduct the mains exam via CBRE (Computer Based Recruitment Drive) or OMR. The exam will carry a negative marking scheme, ¼ of the marks will be deducted for every wrong response (questions having 4 options).
A new notice will be issued on the official site to inform about the mode of exam, duration and number of questions.
What After Passing the OSSC 2025 Mains Exam?
After clearing the OSSC Mains 2025 examination students would be shortlisted for certificate verification in a ratio of two times the number of positions advertised for both the positions.
For instance there are 30 positions given for JEO then only 60 candidates would be shortlisted for the verification process and the final selection will be made on the basis of marks scored in the main exam and a qualifying performance in the required tests.
Selected candidates must show their valid documents: the passing certificates of previous exams, mark sheet, caste certificate, and a signed copy of the original OSSC online application form.
If a candidate fails to appear in any of the stages of recruitment then he/she might be disqualified.
Candidates are requested to always keep visiting the official website for the upcoming news on mode of exam and number of questions. For any grievances regarding the exam, one may contact the mail ID provided by OSSC (support.ossc@gov.in) within five days of exam conclusion.
