Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday interacted with students during the ninth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha, urging them to follow a study pattern that suits them best and have complete confidence in it. Emphasising individuality in learning, he advised students to accept guidance from others but adapt it wisely rather than blindly following it.
Addressing students during the live interaction from Delhi, PM Modi said that every individual has a unique working style. He pointed out that while some students prefer studying in the morning, others perform better at night, and there is no single formula for success. “Whatever method works for you, trust it fully. Take advice from others, but only adopt what truly benefits you,” he said.
Sharing a personal example, the Prime Minister noted that even after becoming PM, he continues to receive suggestions on how to work. However, he stressed that while he has made improvements over time, he has never abandoned his core working pattern.
Highlighting the role of teachers, PM Modi said their efforts should focus on keeping students motivated by setting goals that are achievable yet challenging. “The aim should be within reach, but not something that comes too easily,” he added.
This year’s Pariksha Pe Charcha was held in an expanded format, with a strong focus on mental well-being, stress management, and child-centric learning. The programme has now become part of the broader ‘Exam Warriors’ movement, which promotes holistic development and aims to create a stress-free environment for young learners.
During the event, the Prime Minister engaged with students, parents, and teachers from across the country, offering guidance on handling board and entrance examinations with calmness and confidence, while also addressing wider aspects of personal growth and learning.
The ninth edition was organised simultaneously across five locations, including 7, Lok Kalyan Marg in Delhi, and regional centres in Devmogra, Coimbatore, Raipur, and Guwahati. Previous editions of the programme have also featured renowned sportspersons and public figures who shared insights on resilience, focus, and mental health.
Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) 2026 was telecast live across multiple platforms to ensure wide accessibility for students, parents, and teachers.
The programme was aired on DD National, DD News, and DD India. It was also broadcast on All India Radio (AIR) through both MW and FM channels.
For online viewers, the event was live-streamed on YouTube via official government channels, including the Ministry of Education and Doordarshan. In addition, digital streaming was available through platforms associated with MyGov and other related government portals.
