PSSSB Excise Inspector Admit Card 2026 Out: Exam Advisory for May 31 Written Test

The admit card for the Excise and Taxation Inspector exam is going to be on the 31st May, 2026. Since the exam is approaching and is not very far away, here is an examination advisory for the students to prepare themselves strategically and logistically. 

Things You Need to know before going to the PSSSB Excise Inspector Exam

There are a few pointers that candidates need to know before going to the examination centre. 

1. What to Carry on Exam Day

It is advised that the applicants need to carry their valid IDs, such as Aadhaar card, Voter ID, or PAN card, to the exam centre. Entry might not be permitted without documents. 

2. Exam Format  that you need to Know Before You Go

Since the exam is going to be on the 31st of May in offline mode across various exam centres in Punjab. Candidates need to use a proper blue pen. Moreover, the authorities will examine a single shift.

3. Last-Minute Preparation Tips

Candidates need to prioritize General Knowledge, Punjabi language, and reasoning because they are the key areas for the exam. Moreover, candidates also need to solve the previous year’s exam questions so that they can manage with the timing as well. It is a crucial part for the students to complete the exam on time.

4. For PwD Candidates

Candidates with disabilities need a scribe who writes or copies documents to help them must email their copies of all required documents to scribe.sssb@gmail.com. Furthermore, the deadline to do so is 24th May, till 5:00 PM.  

5. Day Before the Exam

Candidates need to visit the exam centre at least an hour before the exam day. Get rest before night, keeping all the documents ready to go. Arriving late may result in denied entry.
