UGC NET December 2025 Registration: Last Chance to Apply

The chance to register for the UGC NET December 2025 exam is about to end. The National Testing Agency (NTA) indicated that the online registration portal will close on November 7 (11:50 PM). Those who are in the process of completing the forms should not continue to sit idle and complete their work on the official website, ‍ugcnet.nta.ac.in

As stated on the announcement, UGC NET 2025, will be held in a computer based mode from December 31,2025 to January 7, 2026, at various exam centres. The registration was started on October 7 and after the deadlines participants will not be able to register anymore.

UGC NET 2025 Application Fee

Before the end of the day, it is a must for every candidate to complete the registration fee payment online. Here is the breakdown of the fee according to category:

General category: ₹1, 150

OBC (NCL)/EWS: ₹600

SC/ST/PwD: ₹325

The fee payment should also be done by November 7, 11:50 PM. There will be a window from November 10 to November 12, 2025, during which candidates can make corrections in their forms.

• Select 'New Registration' and enter the basic details.

• Attach a passport, size photo and a signature (JPEG format).

Only a single application is allowed from each candidate. Sending the same application more than once may lead to the cancellation of the candidate.
