SSC CHSL 2025: Registration Starts at ssc.gov.in, 3000 Vacancies Open, Last Date to Register 18 July 2025

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the Registration notification for the SSC CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level) 2025. The registration process started yesterday, on 23rd June 2025, at the official website at ssc.gov.in. The last date for registration is on the 18th July 2025. However, an online registration fee payment can be made till 19th July 2025.

The SSC CHSL would be held in two tiers; tier 1 from 8th September 2025 to 18th September 2025. While the tier 2 of SSC CHSL is scheduled for February-March 2026, next year.

The candidates who are shortlisted after the exams would be appointed to several Group ‘C’ posts of junior secretariat assistant, data entry operators, and divisional clerks in different ministries, offices, departments of the GOI (Government of India), and various tribunals, constitutional bodies, and statutory bodies.

The crucial date to determine the age of candidates is 1st January, 2026. The candidates who appeared in the Class 12 or equivalent exams can apply for the exams. The qualification of the candidates must be fulfilled on or before the cutoff date - 1st January 2026.

The applications must be submitted only in the online mode on the new website of SSC at ssc.gov.in. Applications can also be submitted through the SSC mobile application, which can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.

The interested candidates who want to apply online and have not generated the One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new SSC website (ssc.gov.in), they would be required to generate it as early as possible as the OTR generated on the old website (ssc.nic.in) would no longer be functional on the new website. After the OTR, the candidates can fill out the application form for the examination. Once you have generated an OTR on the new website, it will be valid for all the examinations that are to be applied on the new website.

Candidates are advised to take in the Aadhar authentication in the Aadhaar Policy, published on the website of the Commission, during the completion of the OTR process.The applications of the interested candidates opting for the Aadhar Authentication would not be rejected on the basis of wrong photograph/signature uploaded by the candidate that are not prescribed as per the standards. Such type of candidates would not be required to provide any recent colour photographs or any original valid photo-identity proof for getting admission at the examination venue of the exam.
