Symbiosis Skills & Professional University, Pune: Top Skill University Category in NIRF 2025

In the announcement of the NIRF 2025 (National Institutional Ranking Framework) results released by the Ministry of Education on September 4, 2025, Symbiosis Skills and Professional University (SSPU) in Pune has been ranked number one in the new category of "Skill Universities". 

The skill universities category aims to profile universities that exist for the predominance of training and vocational/professional education, an area of education that SSPU clearly excels in. Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences, Indore, was ranked second, and Shri Vishwakarma Skill University, Palwal, was ranked third.

SSPU Pro-Chancellor Swati Mujumdar expressed her pride in the steady performance of the university, emphasizing that the award reaffirms their dedication to skill-focused education that puts students at the center of their educational experiences.
