UGC Notice

As per the previous data, TGBIE was sharing the admit card with the candidates via a conventional method, but from now on, the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education has made an announcement clarifying that from today admit card will be sent directly to students via WhatsApp for TG Intermediate examinations 2026 to make the process easier. This step is taken by the TGBIE to make the distribution of the admit card simple for the candidates.

As per the officials, on the registered mobile number of candidates in the board track record, that's where the admit card will be shared for both years - first and second.

The step is taken to reduce the students' dependency on the site or college, which often leads to website crashes and downtime due to high traffic, making all the students frustrated during the time of downloading the admit card. To prevent such, TGBIE took this initiative.

Part of Digital Initiatives by TGBIE

This initiative by the Telangana Board aims to streamline the push of digital across the state of telangana. Therefore this whatsapp based hall ticket is a part of the initiative to push the digital mission. As per officials this step is taken to avoid technical issues at the end moment.

The board believes the initiative will be particularly useful for students from remote areas, where access to computers and stable internet connections may be limited.

What Students Should Do

The Examination date of TG Inter exam is tentatively to be around the month of February or march in the next year 2026. Candidates need to make sure that there correct mobile number is updated in the records of boards. So, any update related to admit card can be sent without any issues.

After receiving the hall ticket via WhatsApp, students must download and take a printout, as carrying the hall ticket to the examination centre remains mandatory.

The new initiative has been welcomed by students and parents, who see it as a practical step towards reducing stress during the examination season.
