Delhi Govt Announced Free Coaching Program for Competitive Exams JEE, NEET, CUET, CLAT & CA

With‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ the aim of equalizing the opportunities for higher education, the Delhi Government has initiated a new coaching support program in this year 2025 for the students of government schools, who will now get free preparation for the most competitive national level entrance exams like JEE, NEET, CA Foundation, CUET-UG and CLAT.

The program inaugurated under the Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya Vidya Shakti Mission intends to provide education for everyone so that a student will not lose out on the career opportunities because of his/her family's financial background or the unavailability of proper ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌guidance.

What the Scheme Offers

A total of 2,200 students will be selected for free coaching this academic year. Coaching will be delivered by some of the country’s top private institutes, empanelled by the Delhi Government.

Institutes selected under the programme include:

• Aakash Institute
• Narayana Academy
• KD Campus
• Ravindra Institute

Students will receive:

• Classroom and hybrid live coaching
• Printed study material and doubt-clearing support
• Mock tests & exam-oriented assessments
• Sessions after school hours and on weekends

Budget Allocation

The initiative was announced in the education budget earlier this year with a financial allocation of ₹21 crore dedicated to coaching and academic support.

What the Government Says

Education‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Minister Ashish Sood mentioned that this initiative is far beyond just supplying educational resources, as it is also intended to foster self-confidence and set high goals in the students of government schools.

He insisted that this effort is about creating fresh academic and professional opportunities for the young people of Delhi and thus, making sure that it is talent rather than a money background that determines a child's ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌future.

Generally, specialized coaching is needed for the preparation of a number of competitive entrance examinations such as JEE, NEET, CUET and CLAT. A large number of students belonging to economically weaker sections of the society are deprived of the luxury of such coaching. Through the merging of coaching and regular schooling, the Delhi Government plans ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌to:

• Reduce dependence on private coaching markets
• Promote equal academic opportunities
• Improve representation of government school students in top colleges and professional fields
