Candidates, the wait is over, and the city intimation slip of the UGC NET is already live on 21st Dec, 2025 on the official website. As almost only a week is left in the examination, which is starting from 31st Dec, 2025 and it will be conducted in two shifts separately.

Every year, NTA conducts examination of UGC NET twice, just to select candidates for roles like Junior Research Fellowship, appointment as Assistant Professor and along with that the admission to the PHD programme.

Exam Schedule of UGC NET 2025 -2026

• The exam is starting from 31st Dec - 7th Jan, 2026
• The exam is taking place in two shifts
• Timing of Shift 1 - 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon
• Timing of Shift 2 - 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
