The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the final date for the announcement of results of the UGC NET June session 2025. The results and scorecards has released on 21st July 2025. This final announcement came through the agency’s official social media X handle 2 hours ago, which reads that the result of UGC NET would be released on 22nd July 2025. This sudden and much-awaited announcement put an end to all the speculations around the release of the result date.

The University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) is an important national level exam taken by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to asses the eligibility of the candidate for Assistant Professorship and award the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in all the Indian Colleges and Universities. The June 2025 session was held in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode in the various shifts across the different parts of the country.

Steps to Download UGC NET 2025 Result and Scorecard

  • Navigate to the official website of UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
  • On the homepage, find the result link reading, “UGC NET June 2025 Result”.
  • Enter your login credentials, like the Application Number, Date of Birth, and Security Pin as displayed on the screen.
  • After clicking the Submit Button, the result appears on the screen.
  • Download and print your result for the future reference.

Once, after the release of the results, candidates would be able to check their individual scorecards, which would have the total marks, percentile score, and indicate whether they qualified for the JRF and/or Assistant Professorship. The cut-off marks of various subjects and categories would also be displayed alongside the result.

NTA makes the use of Normalization and Percentile-Based scores to make sure that there is fairness in the various shifts of the exam. Candidates who will score equal to or above the cut-off in the respective categories would be declared qualified.
