UGC‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ NET is the essential test that one has to go through in order to be qualified for positions of teaching staff in colleges and universities, as well as for the award of a JRF, in Indian universities and colleges. According to the recent timetable, the examination will be conducted between December 31, 2025, and January 7, 2026, at various centres across ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌India.

The admit card can only be downloaded after the release of the exam city slip which will be available with NTA 10 days prior to the ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌test.

3. After completing new registration, log in through the system-generated credentials.
4. Enter academic and personal details with proper care.
5. Submit your photo, signature, and other required certificates.
6. Fee payment through card or upi and submission of the form.
7. Confirmation page printing and safekeeping for future reference.

An‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ application will be counted as invalid in case the payment of the fee is not done successfully. It is necessary for the candidates to keep in mind that changing their application will not be permitted after the submission.

Key Advisory to Applicants

NTA has asked a big favor from candidates to make sure the information on their Aadhaar card and UDID (for PwD) is correct and up to date to prevent any delays during verification. The‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Aadhaar card of the candidate must contain the exact name, date of birth, and a photograph of the candidate.
