UPSC Starts CSE Mains 2025 Registration, Last Date to Apply 25th June 2025, Click here for the Steps to Apply

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has commenced the process for registration for the UPSC CSE Mains Exam. It is for the candidates who qualified for the prelims stage-one exams. In the current year, a total of 14,161 students passed the UPSC CSE Prelims and are aspiring to apply for the UPSC Mains Exam. Students who have passed the prelims are only eligible to apply for the UPSC Mains exams. The aspiring candidates need to visit the official website at upsconline.nic.in and register for the upcoming Mains Exam. The last date for registration is 25th June 2025.

UPSC Mains exam is scheduled for 22nd August 2025. It will take five days to complete the exam. The application fee for general candidates is ₹200, whereas the female candidates or the aspirants coming from the SC, ST, PwBD categories would be discharged from paying the registration amount.

Steps to Apply for UPSC CSE Mains 2025

• Navigate to any one of the websites either upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in.
• Log in to the portal using your registration ID and password.
• Enter all your details like Name, DOB (Date of Birth), Category, etc.
• Enter all the educational qualifications and attach the applicable documents.
• Enter your employment details. If it is applicable, give the job title, job description, name of organisation, employment duration, and your day-to-day responsibilities at the job.
• Select the Service you want to apply for, and arrange the list of services in your preferred order.
• Fill in your additional information, like hobbies, extracurricular activities, and achievements.
• Upload all the valid documents like photograph, signature, and the Govt. issued ID.
• Carefully review all the information and submit the UPSC CSE DAF 2025, with the form and registration fee of ₹200.
