WBCHSE Class 11 Supplementary Exams 2026 in April

The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education has issued a notification regarding the Class 11 Semester-II supplementary examinations. According to the council, students who are unable to pass one or more subjects in the WBCHSE Class 11 Semester-II examination will get another opportunity to clear their backlog through a supplementary test.

As per the official notification, the Class 11 Semester-II supplementary exams must be conducted and completed by April 11, 2026. These examinations will be organised by the respective institutions rather than being conducted centrally.

The council has also directed heads of institutions under its jurisdiction to ensure that the Semester-II supplementary examinations are conducted every year, if required, in accordance with the regulations issued by the board.

Submission of Class 11 Marks

The council has instructed schools to upload the marks of Class 11 students for the 2025–26 academic year on the official portal. The marks to be submitted include:

• Semester 1 examination marks
• Semester 2 examination marks
• Supplementary examination marks for Semester 1
• Supplementary examination marks for Semester 2 
• Practical and project marks

All institutions must submit the complete marks data online through wbchse.wb.gov.in  by April 16, 2026.

Classes for Class 12 to Begin Soon

The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education has also announced that classes for students promoted to Class 12 for the 2026–27 academic session will begin by the fourth week of April 2026.

Students who need to appear for the supplementary examinations are advised to stay in touch with their respective schools for detailed schedules and instructions regarding the exams.
