West Bengal School Recruitment: Merit List Out, Interviews Begin January 27

Finally, the merit list is out now for the higher secondary classes 11 and 12th, teacher recruitment in state-aided schools. For all the individuals waiting this is a golden opportunity released by the West Bengal School Service Commission.

Background

• Total vacancies include 23,212 posts for secondary classes (9–10) and 12,445 for higher secondary (11–12).
• The secondary (9–10) merit list was released on November 24, and the final interview-qualified list on December 12.
• Several teachers whose appointments were earlier invalidated by a Supreme Court order (April 3 last year) have appeared in the current merit list.
