Yes, you are eligible to write the Indian Engineering Services(IES) exam if you have completed your B.Tech in Computer Science. However, you must select between civil, mechanical, electrical, and electronics subjects to write the exam.

CS students are eligible for the IES exam. You need a degree in Engineering or Technology, and Computer Science Engineering is very much on the approved list. UPSC recognizes B.Tech/B.E. in CS as a qualifying degree. Just make sure you're in your final year or already graduated when you apply. The age limit is 21-30 years, with relaxations for reserved categories. The CS & IT paper is one of the specific streams you can pick!
