To join an M.tech evening program through PGCET (Post Graduate Common Entrance Test), you must have a minimum percentage of 50-55% or CGPA equivalent to it in your B.Tech/B.E. or equivalent degree.

After that, you can apply for the PGCET exam by visiting the state’s official website (such as Karnataka PGCET) and pay the application fee and select your preferred M.tech stream.

After that, score good on your PGCET exam to aim an excellent reputated evening college. This entrance exam basically test your technical knowledge in your specialization.

In order to boost your knowledge, you need to attend the counselling process. Choose from the available evening colleges offering M.Tech programs in your selected branch of study.

During counseling, opt for an M.Tech evening college that fits your schedule and location preferences. Ensure the college is accredited and offers the specialization you are interested in.

The M.tech degree program is also available in online colleges such as

  1. BITS Pilani Work Integrated Learning Programs (WILP): Offers M.Tech for working professionals with flexible learning schedules.
  2. Amity University Online: Provides various online postgraduate engineering programs.
  3. Manipal University Online: Specializes in various M.Tech streams for remote learners.
  4. IIIT Hyderabad: Offers an M.Tech program with online components for professionals.

These colleges offer the flexibility to pursue higher education while managing professional commitments.
