The Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) degree pursued through distance education takes about 3 years, similar to traditional full-time programs. However, the duration can vary depending on the specific institution and your pace of study. Some universities may offer flexibility that allows students to complete the program in a shorter or longer time frame, often accommodating individual circumstances. I hope this information is useful and clears your doubts, but if you still have any queries, you can visit College Vidya or connect with the counselor.

Just like a regular BCA program, a distance BCA course will take 3 years to complete. You might get relaxation in the maximum time to complete the course, but that’s totally up to the university you choose.

In case you do a BCA through distance education, then at least you have to spend 3 years to earn your degree, and it is constructed in 6 semesters, and you will be given 6 years to complete all the requirements in case you need it. This versatile period will enable you to go at your own pace, but the majority of the students are covered within 3 years, provided that a student clears the subjects on time.
