What is the salary of an AIIMS nurse?

The Salary of the AIIMS Nursing Officer has three components:

• Basic salary that ranges from INR 9300 to INR 34800 per month
• Grade pay of INR 4600 per month
• Other Allowances that include the House rental allowance, Medical allowance, Leave travel concession, Transport allowance, Internet allowance, Dearness allowance, Refreshment allowance, and Others

Thus, the annual package of an AIIMS Nursing Officer ranges from approx. INR 166,800 to INR 472,800, including the annual grade pay of INR 55,200. However, this salary band changes with the experience and posts of the Nurses, which follows the order with the entry-level positions of Sister Grade-II, to Sister Grade-I, Assistant Nursing Superintendent, Deputy Nursing Superintendent, Nursing Superintendent, and finally to the highest position of Chief Nursing Officer.
