Why iit bombay need btech for masters of design​?

IIT Bombay doesn't need B.Tech degree for Master of Design. Here is the right eligibility criteria:

• Candidate must have passed any 4-year bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
• A minimum score of 50% marks in bachelor's.
• Must qualify CEED with a valid score.
