Guru Nanak Dev University was established in 1969. The University is accredited by the National Assessment & Accreditation Council with a grade of A++ and a CPGA of 3.85 out of 4 scale. Also, the University is granted the University Grants Commission category 1 status. At present, the University has around 44 teaching departments two regional campuses, and 170+ affiliated colleges and universities that are located in rural areas.

The Examination will be done in online mode for all the students enrolled in online education. The students are not required to visit the center throughout their course duration. They have to make sure to check the advisory issued before appearing for the final examination, The students need to have a functional webcam and a microphone to appear in the final examination. Also, they can study from the self-paced material that is given to the students to prepare for the examination.
