IGNOU Online LLM Dispute Resolution

LLM is a master’s program that allows students to learn and deep dive into the subject matter that students wish to pursue in the law field. Multiple specializations are there that any law graduate can pursue like Criminal and Security Law, International and Comparative Law, Corporate and Commercial Law, Family and Social Security Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law, Statutory Law, Intellectual Property Rights Law, Real Estate and Infrastructure Law, Company Law, Healthcare Law, Human Rights, Labour Law, Business Law, Environmental Law, Banking Law, and more. LLM is generally a 1-2-year program. A 1-year program is for mostly working professionals and the other one is a regular LLM program. 

What’s new at IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University)?

IGNOU offers multiple PG Diploma and Certificate programs like post-graduate Diploma in Criminal Justice (PGDCJ), Post-Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights (PGDIPR), Post-Graduate Certificate in Patent Practice (PGCPP), Post Graduate Certificate in Cyber Law (PGCCL), a Certificate in Human Rights (CHR), Diploma in Paralegal Practice (DIPP), and more. IGNOU does not offer any LLM full course as the university does not have approval from the Bar Council of India (BCI).

The university has been serving the students by providing them the quality education since 1985. The university got approval from the University Grants Commission (UGC) and also from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Also, the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited the university as an “A++ grade University”.

• Eligibility criteria for the PG Diploma at IGNOU:
  • Students who wish to pursue a PG Diploma must have completed their bachelor’s degree in law.
  • They must have prior knowledge of the particular topic for which they wish to pursue the PG Diploma
• Eligibility criteria to take admission in LLM programs for working professionals (1-year program):
  • Must have completed LLB with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognized university, however, some universities have different minimum percentage criteria.
  • Must have qualified marks in the entrance examination conducted by the university itself or by the government of India.
  • Students must have prior knowledge of the fields. 

Note: The fee listed above is for the 1-year diploma course (Environmental Management & Law) and it may vary for different diploma courses that are offered by IGNOU.

IGNOU Online offers the option of Credit Card/Debit card/Net Banking in its fee payment options but does not provide you a “No Cost EMI” option as of now for any of the online courses.
