Not every student can apply for the DU engineering program. If someone is planning to enroll, they have to fulfill certain guidelines as mentioned by the university: 

B.Tech DU Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicant should have completed class XII or equivalent from a recognized board. 
  • Applicant must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics besides the English language at the senior secondary school. 
  • The aggregate score must be 60% or more. However, for reserved category applicants, there is some relief when it comes to aggregate scores. 
  • Applicants with supplementary aren’t eligible for enrollment in Delhi University's undergraduate engineering program. 

Aggregate marks are required for reserved categories 

If a student belongs to an unreserved category, it is clear that such applicants need a minimum of 60%. But, students with reserved categories should meet the criteria mentioned below:

How Can I Get Admission To B.Tech Delhi University?

Here are the simple steps that an applicant has to pay attention to while singing up for the DU UG engineering admission procedure: 

  • Go to the website, engineering.uod.ac.in for registration. 
  • Select the “New Registration” button at the top right side of the webpage. 
  • Enter the registration details like mobile number, email, and set password to proceed with further admission process. 
  • After clicking on the “Register” button, an application form will be shared with an applicant. 
  • Candidates are required to log in using their JEE Application and Password during the signing process. 
  • Now, fill out the details about the personal section and academic section asked by the university. Furthermore, upload the mandatory documents. 
  • When candidates reach here, they are required to pay registration-cum allocation fee via Debit card/ Credit card/ Net Banking and UPI. 
  • Applicants are supposed to submit their preference for specialization which will divide the allocation of seats. In Case, the applicant doesn’t select any preferences automatically last preference order is locked for the Preference-Filing.

What Is The BTech DU Fee?

In the first year of the program, students have to pay the fees in two installments at the time of admission. The first installment is paid when the admission is approved for the students at the time of counseling and the second one is paid as an admission confirmation fee for the allocated seat.
