What is M.Tech in The Embedded System?

MTech in embedded system is a postgraduate degree in engineering specialized in embedded system subject that is a further specialization of electronics and communication engineering. The duration of the course is 2 years that is further divided into 4 semesters.

The course can be pursued only after completing the bachelor’s degree in the same field or any discipline of engineering. The course can be pursued through a regular learning method or distance learning method.

The duration of both courses is the same. In regular MTech courses, the student needs to attend regular classes and during distance M Tech courses there is no need to attend regular classes. The students will get online classes from anywhere during the Distance M.Tech in Embedded systems course.

As per the AICTE and UGC guidelines, the engineering degree in any discipline through distance learning or online learning is truly an invalid degree. Embedded system engineering is the study of practical and theoretical knowledge of hardware combined with software.

Theoretical knowledge can be gained through online classes but it is quite impossible to get technical knowledge through distance learning. There is a need for a proper face-to-face classroom setup to gain practical knowledge. Keeping these things in mind the directors of AICTE and UGC declined to accept the engineering degree pursued through distance learning.

However, due to this COVID-19 pandemic, the classes of new sessions are conducted online whether it be a regular engineering course or a distance engineering course but after this pandemic is over the classes will start happening as previously.

An embedded system is a software-based microprocessor computer system designed to carry out a specific purpose, whether as an isolated system or as part of a large system. An integrated circuit designed to perform real-time computing operations.

If anyone is interested to research this type of system then MTech in embedded systems is the best course for them. The course will provide you detailed knowledge about computer hardware combined with the knowledge of the software. The students can become professionals in the field of embedded systems and they can work professionally in the field.
