As per the guidelines of the Supreme Court of India & AICTE, M.Tech distance education is not valid in India. Considering the necessity of practical learning of the subjects, this program cannot be completed in distance mode.
As per the Supreme Court of India & AICTE, M.Tech distance education is not valid in India. However, you can opt for the M.Tech for working professionals, for which universities offer admission based on the scores of the GATE exam. Also, there are some universities that provide admission to this program based on prior work experience & marks scored in the bachelor’s degree.
As per the Supreme Court of India & AICTE, M.Tech distance education is not valid in India, but you can opt for the M.Tech for working professionals after qualifying for a bachelor’s degree in the engineering domain, i.e., either B.Tech or B.E. There might be some other eligibility criteria based on the choice of university, but this academic qualification is the common & most basic one to opt for this program.
As per the Supreme Court of India & AICTE, M.Tech distance education is not valid in India. So, you can go for the M.Tech for working professionals, whose duration is similar to the one offered in a regular program, i.e., 2 years. This duration is divided into 4 semesters. You might get an extension period of 6 months at some universities, which adds to the flexibility of this program.

However, if you have done the M.Tech for working professionals, your salary package ranges between 17 and 50 LPA with an average of 23 LPA. This range may vary as per your skill, knowledge, & work experience.
