However, you can opt for the M.Tech for working professionals, for which universities offer admission based on the scores of the GATE exam. Also, there are some universities that provide admission to this program based on prior work experience & marks scored in the bachelor’s degree.
As per the Supreme Court of India & AICTE, M.Tech distance education is not valid in India, but you can opt for the M.Tech for working professionals after qualifying for a bachelor’s degree in the engineering domain, i.e., either B.Tech or B.E.
