2. B.Tech Lateral Entry 

Applicants who have completed a polytechnic diploma in civil engineering can apply for the B.Tech Civil Engineering program and related fields. They can appear for the B.Tech lateral Entry exams like DTU Leet, PULEET, HP LEET, JELET Exam, IPU CET, and UPSEEE to apply for the higher positions in the government sector available for civil engineers. Students are directly admitted to the 2nd year of the B.Tech program to complete their graduation degree. 

3. B.Tech for Working Professionals

 The B.Tech for Working Professionals program is best suited for those candidates who can’t attend the regular classes. For such applicants, hybrid mode programs are designed where they can register for the online sessions conducted, and for lab sessions and examinations, they have to visit the campus. Sessions on campus are generally organized on weekends or in the evenings so that they can be attended by working professionals.  

Eligibility for B.Tech for Working Professionals

  • Those who have completed a polytechnic diploma in civil engineering or a related field can apply for the program. 
  • They must have scored at least a 45-50% aggregate score. 
  • Direct admission is offered to such candidates because not all universities require an entrance exam score to register for the B.Tech for Working Professionals program. 
  • There is no age limit to enroll in the program.
