B.Tech Lateral Entry Program

Despite work experience and the ability to work in higher job profiles in their field, polytechnic diploma holders can’t apply for the higher roles due to a lack of qualification, i.e., B.Tech (graduation degree in engineering). Due to the monotonous nature of their job roles, they wish to apply for the Distance B.Tech program so that they can complete their engineering graduation. But, according to the regulatory bodies, AICTE and UGC, technical programs can’t be offered in distance mode. However, there are thousands of diploma holders who are looking for opportunities to upskill, so such candidates can apply for the B.Tech Lateral Entry program, a pathway to complete the B.Tech degree.
