MA Correspondence Course Subjects/Syllabus

The usual time to finish an online master’s program is 2 years, but some universities allow students to complete it within 4–5 years.

If you graduate from a UGC-DEB-recognized university, the degree is accepted for employment, higher studies, and competitive tests.

Distance education in the Arts allows students to get a postgraduate degree by learning at home and not attending regular on-site classes; learn as a Correspondence MA.

Some of the main specializations found are English, History, Political Science, Economics, Sociology, Hindi, Philosophy, and Public Administration.

Entrance exams are usually not a requirement for students at universities. Usually, admission is granted based on how well a student has graduated.

The university will either put study materials in the mail or offer them on its online learning portal.

Every year or after each semester, students are tested either in exam centers or online, following the university’s rules.

Program participants work while studying, and the program is designed flexibly for their schedules.

Those who finish the correspondence MA program can find jobs in education, civil services, media, public policy, NGOs, or choose to continue their studies with an MPhil or PhD.

Anyone who holds a Bachelor’s degree (regardless of field) from a validated university is allowed to apply.
