Online Master of Social Work Eligibility & Duration

• Step - 2: Then, register yourself and click the “Register Now” tab on the admission portal
• Step - 3: Once your registration is completed, you will receive an OTP or code on your mobile no. or email Id for verification. 
• Step - 4: Now you are ready to apply for an online MSW program. 
• Step - 5: Fill out all the required information (personal and academic), upload your documents, etc and select “master’s of social work” or “MSW” program as your PG course.  
• Step - 6: Upload your other important documents in the portal. 
• Step - 7: Pay your registration fees (likely ranges from INR 300-INR 1000 varies from university to university.) using UPI or Debit or Credit Card. 
• Step - 8: After that, you will get a confirmation mail on your email ID, and it makes sure that admission is confirmed. 

The minimum eligibility for doing online MSW course is passing your 12th class from any stream with a minimum score of 50%. And plus you have to pass your bachelor’s program with a minimum eligibility of 45-50% marks. And both qualifications should be done from a recognized academic institution or university. 

Well, in most of the cases, the universities do not let a student with a diploma degree to do an online MSW degree. However, this also depends on which type of diploma you have completed. Let's have a look at two different cases: 

• If you have finished your PG diploma, then a few universities value it as equal as the master degree. Then you are eligible to do that course from some universities. 
• However, if you have earned a diploma after 10th or 12th then it will not be counted. In that case, first you have to complete your UG course and then you can take admission in an online MSW course.
