CBSE Class 12 Supplementary Result 2026: Re-evaluation and Verification Dates, Process, Fees

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the schedule for post-result facilities for students who appeared in the Class 12 Supplementary (Compartment) Examination 2026. Students can check all details on the official CBSE result portal.

The post-result process begins tomorrow. Before applying for verification of marks or re-evaluation, students must first obtain a scanned copy of their evaluated answer book, this is a mandatory first step, and only those who follow the prescribed procedure will be eligible for the subsequent stages. CBSE declared the Class 12 Supplementary Exam 2026 result on August 12, 2026. The exam itself was held on July 28, 2026, at centres across the country.

Once students receive the scanned copy of their answer book, they can check:

• Whether all questions were evaluated
• Whether marks were awarded correctly
• Whether the total marks were calculated accurately

Verification allows students to flag discrepancies in the marks awarded for specific answers, while re-evaluation applies only to the theory paper and covers the entire question, not just a part of it.

Important Note for Students

CBSE has clarified that marks may either increase or decrease as a result of the re-evaluation process. Once the re-evaluation outcome is declared, it will be treated as final, with no scope for further appeal or review. Students are advised to go through the schedule carefully and submit their applications within the specified windows to avoid missing out.
