IIT Madras has activated the GATE 2027 registration link on the GOAPS portal today, September 2, 2026, at 7:00 PM. Candidates must complete DigiLocker integration and facial recognition before filling the application form.

Visit the official GOAPS portal
Register using your email ID and mobile number
Complete identity verification through DigiLocker integration and live facial recognition
Enter personal details like full name, address, date of birth, category, and contact details
Fill in academic details, including your qualifying degree, institute name, and year of passing
Select your GATE paper
Upload scanned documents such as recent passport-size photograph, signature, valid photo ID proof, and category/PwD certificate (if applicable), as per the specified format
Now pay the registration fee online, and it is done
