IGNOU July 2026 Admission Deadline Extended to August 31; Check Details

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has again extended the last date to submit applications for the July 2026 admission cycle. The deadline, which was earlier August 16, has now been extended to August 31, 2026. Also, according to the latest updates, eligible students are again getting a chance to submit their applications. Applicants are advised to complete the process before the revised deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.

IGNOU has also advised applicants to keep their APAAR ID ready before beginning the admission process. Students facing difficulties while creating their APAAR ID can use the assistance option available on the admission portal.

Eligible students can also apply for Government of India scholarships through the National Scholarship Portal after their admission is confirmed. The university has further advised students awaiting confirmation of their July 2026 admission applications to regularly check the Online Admission Portal. If any discrepancy is found, students will be notified through their accounts and will need to submit the required documents or information.
