Today, the JKBOSE Class 12th Board Exam 2026 has started for Arts, Science, Commerce, and Home Science streams. Students are appearing for the General English paper across all streams. To be aware, all the students should know that the Summer Zone examinations for the Jammu division have already started as per the official schedule.

There is only one single session in which the exam on Day 1 of JKBOSE will take place, that in morning session from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Additionally, the next exam will be held on February 27, 2026, for Chemistry, Arabic/Persian/Sanskrit/Economics, Clothing for the Family, Entrepreneurship, and Economics across all relevant streams.

Students must carry their admit card and school ID for verification at the exam centre, as entry at the exam centre is not allowed.

JKBOSE 12th Board Exam 2026: Day Guidelines

The simplest thing all the students can attempt, who are planning to appear for the Jammu & Kashmir Summer Zone Board Exams, is to follow the guidelines shared below:

The best practice to attempt is to reach the exam centre one hour prior to avoid any issues on the exam day.
The most important thing that no one should miss is to carry the JKBOSE Class 12 admit card and school ID card, which are crucial items for verification at the exam centre.
All the students should be aware that electronic devices are not allowed at the exam centre, such as mobiles, tablets, smart watches, digital watches, Bluetooth devices, and headphones.
One more thing all should know is not to carry calculators, log tables, or other banned items.
Leaving the exam centre before is not allowed, which means students cannot leave the exam hall before the scheduled end time of the paper.
Most important of all is that any candidate caught cheating will be disqualified.
