A detailed notification has been released for EPFO Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC) by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), announcing 80 APFC vacancies. The registration has finally started; eligible candidates can submit their forms till 11th of September through the UPSC online application portal.

A total of 80 Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner posts have been announced:

General: 29 vacancies
EWS: 8 vacancies
OBC: 18 vacancies
SC: 15 vacancies
ST: 10 vacancies
PwBD reservation: 3 vacancies

One of the key changes in the latest notification is that Labour Laws has been replaced by Labour Codes in the APFC syllabus.

UPSC EPFO APFC Eligibility 2026

Candidates should have a degree from a recognised university, preferably a diploma in Company Law, Labour Laws or Public Administration
Maximum age to apply for General and EWS candidates is 35
Applicable relaxation will be provided as per government rules
