According to the rules of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and University Grants Commission (UGC), degree programs like B.Tech cannot be pursued through distance education in India. B.Tech is a vocational and technical education programme, which involves practical components, lab work, and practical sessions, etc, which cannot be effectively delivered through distance learning. Distance mode access can only be granted for diploma work or theoretical matters related to vocational education. If you're looking for something more flexible, there are universities that provide evening engineering part-time programs, but the B.Tech degree through distance education is not recognized.
B.Tech is an undergraduate engineering and technology degree program that cannot be pursued in a distance mode of education. Students who are interested in pursuing a B.Tech degree while doing a job can opt for a B.Tech with flexible timing shifts.
