Can I do MTech from distance education?

No, you can not pursue MTech through distance learning in India. According to the existing guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC), the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and a Supreme Court order, the distance or online governed M.Tech degrees in India are not applicable. The course has to be undertaken on a normal basis on a physical basis. All the allegations of UGC/AICTEs approval to distance MTech are either old or erroneous according to the new guidelines.
