Through a lateral entry program one can apply for B.Tech CSE after a diploma in ECE. A student has to gain basic knowledge of CSE. With the help of lateral entry, students can directly enroll in 2nd year of B.Tech. If someone wants to pursue a B.Tech 4-year program then they have to appear in JEE examination or any particular university's entrance exam.
