I wish to pursue BA psychology from DU as an online course. However, I'm confused about the examination process as well as how the practicals would be conducted. Help is appreciated!!

The examination, practicals, and project process for an Online BA in psychology at DU is quite different from regular or traditional university learning. Continuous evaluation and end-term tests exist for those pursuing an online BA in psychology at Delhi University. These end-terms are computer-based; however, each student must attempt the exams in their allocated test centers. The question paper contains a mix of subjective and objective questions. 

The practicals of the DU online in BA psychology are conducted in the following manner: 

1. The practicals include psychological experiments, administering tests, case studies, observations, and data analysis.

2. There may be some practicals in online BA Psychology at DU for which you must visit on-campus labs.  

3. Some practical components could involve supervised fieldwork in relevant settings like schools, hospitals, or community centers.

The best thing about the practicals and examinations in online BA Psychology at DU is its flexibility and convenient nature. 

As per the NCAHP notice dated 05-03-2025 to the UGC, online psychology courses are not valid. This is because this domain needs clinical attention, which can only be given in a physical mode. Thus, you must think of opting for the BA psychology program from any university, but in offline mode.

As per NCAHP’s 05-03-2025 notice, online psychology courses aren’t valid. Choose an offline BA Psychology program instead.

According to the NCAHP notice issued on March 5, 2025, to the UGC, online psychology courses are deemed invalid. This decision is based on the understanding that this field requires clinical engagement, which can only be effectively provided through in-person classes. Therefore, it is advisable to consider enrolling in a BA psychology program offered by any university, ensuring that it is conducted in an offline format.
